Technical gas installations - laser cutter service

Nitrogen and oxygen must reach the cutting head at the right pressure and purity, otherwise cut quality drops. We build, check and extend the gas supply installations for laser cutters.

  • Nitrogen and oxygen for cutting
  • Leak test
  • Installation documentation

Pressure and puritychecked at the machine

The situation

The cutter cuts worse, even though the head and parameters are fine

The cause is often the gas supply: a pressure drop at high consumption, leaking connections or contamination in the installation. Faults like these are hard to spot on the machine itself.

When reporting, tell us the type of gas and how it is supplied: cylinders, cylinder bundles or a cryogenic tank. Photos of the regulators and the connection at the machine are helpful, as is the pressure required by the cutter manufacturer.

Service scope

What we do, typical situations and what you get

What we do

  • Nitrogen and oxygen installations for laser cutters
  • Installation of manifolds, pressure regulators and valves
  • Pipework to the machine connection
  • Leak and pressure tests
  • Extending the installation for a new machine

When to contact us

  • Burrs and discolouration when cutting with nitrogen or oxygen
  • Pressure drop at high gas consumption
  • High gas consumption or noticeable leaks
  • Commissioning a new laser cutter or changing the supply

What you get

  • An installation matched to the pressure and flow of your laser cutter
  • Leak test report
  • Installation description with valve identification
  • Inspection and operating recommendations
  • One contact throughout the job

What you get

Stable gas supply for cutting

The right pressure at the head

We size pipe diameters and fittings for the flow the laser cutter needs when cutting thicker sheet.

Less gas wasted

Leak-tight connections and a tested installation reduce losses that drive up the cost of cutting.

One person for the machine and the installation

The same service knows both the laser cutter and its supply, so two companies are not hunting for the cause.

How we work together

How the work is carried out

  1. Sending the details

You describe the machine, the type of gas and how it is currently supplied.

  2. On-site inspection

We check the installation route, the take-off point and the laser cutter connection.

  3. Agreeing the scope

We present the scope of work and materials before work starts.

  4. Installation and testing

We install the system and carry out leak and pressure tests.

  5. Commissioning at the machine

We check cutting on the new supply and hand over the documentation.
