Before you report a breakdown
Some machine stoppages do not need a service call-out. Before you report a fault, it is worth checking a few things that can be verified without dismantling the machine and that most often turn out to be the cause.
01
Write down the alarm text before you clear it
A reset wipes out the context. If the operator has reset the machine several times, the controller may have overwritten the event history. A photo of the screen showing the full message is then the only trace of the real cause.
02
Check what changed before the stoppage
A new material, a different sheet thickness, a replaced nozzle, a power cut or service by another company. The change immediately before a breakdown is most often linked to its cause.
Symptoms worth telling apart
A machine that will not start is diagnosed differently from one that runs but cuts worse. The first case usually points to the control system or the power supply. The second more often involves the optics, the nozzle, the gas or the process parameters.

What information speeds up diagnostics
The machine manufacturer and model, the type of control, the full alarm text, a photo of the screen and a short description of what happened before the stoppage. On this basis we can judge whether a remote session is enough or a call-out is needed, and which parts to bring.
Machine down and the alarm will not clear?
Send the model, the alarm code and a photo of the screen. Your request goes straight to Mateusz.
